Attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite DreamWorks character. The Pavilion has DEFINITELY gotten into the DreamWorks spirit. Thanks to Pinterest and some hot glue, we made two of our favorite characters come to life!

Lion and Dragon

TOOTHLESS, everyone’s beloved dragon:

What a popular fella this dragon is! Our little models both couldn’t wait to get those wings on. Using some fleece, felt & a baseball hat we made this super cute version of Toothless from the popular How to Train Your Dragon movies.

We followed this helpful tutorial for the WINGS & the HAT – no sewing required!

ALEX, King of the Zoo:

Alex the Lion

Lions, tigers and bears OH MY! We love Alex from Madagascar for his spunk and the way he keeps the fun going. We made this easy no-sew costume by gluing some strips of felt to 4″ width ribbon + a simple t-shirt. Too cute!

The best part? Both cost under $10 to make! Music from other DreamWorks movies will be played during the concert on Thursday including Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, The Croods AND MANY MORE! What’s your favorite DreamWorks movie? Can’t wait to see your costumes!

See you Thursday!
