Hocus Pocus Pops

Join the Houston Symphony at The Pavilion on October 23 for Hocus Pocus Pops. This Halloween event includes a children’s costume parade, rides on the Great Pumpkin Express boarding in the Gold Parking Lot, pre-concert activities in the Plazas, and a performance of mysterious music from Phantom of the Opera, Jurassic Park, and Disney classics. The gates open at 6 p.m. Orchestra seating is $20, with FREE mezzanine and lawn seating courtesy of H-E-B. Celebrate this haunting holiday with your neighbors, The Pavilion and the Houston Symphony this weekend. It’s sure to be spooktacular…

Children’s Festival

For an early Thanksgiving celebration, bring your kids to The Pavilion for the 20th Annual Children’s Festival. Each day is filled with seasonal crafts, strolling characters, electrifying shows and more to pack your day with so much fun and family to be thankful for. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

If you want to be involved in the “giving” aspect of Children’s Festival, sign up to be an event volunteer! Hundreds of volunteers experience the joy of participating in this educational outreach program each year, and many are coming back for more. In celebration of the approaching winter holidays, The Pavilion will host several local junior high and high school orchestras and choirs in their seasonal programs, as well as the Sam Houston State University Orchestra and Chorale. There are countless additional activities to look forward to before the performance, such as a ride on the Candy Cane Express and crafts in the North and South Plazas. Come dressed in your favorite festive gear and even play in the snow. Sing along to your favorite holiday classics with Santa! Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with FREE admission for all seating. “The best way to spread holiday cheer is singing loud for all to hear!”
